CHS Agronomy has received a patent for a compound used in its line of Levesol® nutrient enhancement products, offering customers exclusive access to this innovative technology. The compound is ortho-ortho EDDHA chelate and is found in CHS products, including Trivar®, Soygreen®, Levesol®, Levesol® ZN, Levesol® DFC ZN, Paralign™, Redline®, Soyshot®, and Copperfield®. Trivar is the newest product available and the first fertilizer additive specifically designed for broadcast phosphorus application.

“The CHS Agronomy team is always looking for ways to empower retailers with solutions that offer sound agronomics and good farmer profitability,” says Steve Carlsen, Levesol and crop enhancement manager, CHS Agronomy. “With our patented Levesol product line, we’re not only providing our customers with state-of-the-art fertilizer products, but also helping them stand out in a competitive market.”

The ortho-ortho EDDHA chelate in Levesol products makes phosphorous, zinc and other micronutrients more available to plants to boost early growth, overall plant health and yields.

“Levesol is a proven technology that’s been used as an in-furrow application for more than 18 years,” says Carlsen. “This patent is an important recognition for the Levesol product line, showcasing these products as innovative tools in the industry.”
